Pal Pot Pies
Items
to have on hand:
- 2
Ready to use pie crust from dairy
section (can substitute roll dough)
- 1
- 14oz. can Veg - All vegetable mix
- 2
- 10oz. cans gravy (chicken, turkey, etc.)
- 1
1/2 to 2 cups cups of cubed leftovers (chicken,turkey, etc.)
Directions:
Line base of Poultry Pal with one pie crust or crescent roll
dough.
Mix cubed chicken, turkey, etc. leftovers with Veg - All and
gravy.
Fill base pan with mixture.
Cover mixture with remaining pie crust orcrescent roll dough.
Cut vent slits in top pie crust
(1 - 1 1/2 in. long)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake for 50 min. or till golden brown.
Place
cookie sheet under base pan to catch any drippings.
Grill instructions:
Use indirect heat method, try for 350 degrees in covered gas
or charcoal grill.
Caution: If using crescent roll dough, do not overlap dough
as this will not cook at same rate. Care to not damage non-stick
coating of base pan when cutting and removing pieces of pie.
